I was looking at the Japanese Good Design Awards, and 2023 had some great ones. One that I noticed was the Sony HT-AX7 Portable Theatre System. Here's more info on the device:
"With its 360 Spatial Sound Mapping technology, the HT-AX7 creates multiple phantom speakers at the front and rear, enveloping you in spatial sound.
