I bought a lavender lipstick the other day, and whew I think I might be on to something. I have a ton of lipsticks that are almost the exact shade I want - but I often wish they had a bit more blue/green/orange, to complement my skin's undertones. (I actually look better in lipsticks that are a little purple or green ... who knew!?)
We have primers for color correcting so I thought shade stick could do the trick - like these from Byredo, which I found on one of my fave all-time makeup and skincare websites - Cult Beauty. Everything on that site is meticulously curated as a "hero product" from a small group of brands that get rave reviews.
I'd love to try these and go over them with brown gloss, OR to get a sheer version and use that over my red/pink/nude lipsticks so they are perfect for me.
